Effective January 1st, Pascal will report to Pierre Laubies, CEO, and will be based in Amsterdam. This follows the appointment of Richard Jones as Global Chief Supply Officer on November 1st.
In his new role, Pascal Baltussen will lead our Procurement team with a strong focus on reducing complexity and costs in order to unlock opportunities for reinvestment and profit expansion. This supports our transformation towards a better and healthier business.
Pascal brings with him a wealth of senior global procurement experience, having spent the last nine years with Mars, where he progressed through the procurement organization to his current role as Global Vice President Procurement and Sustainability at Mars Wrigley. In this role, Pascal was responsible for all direct and indirect procurement and consistently delivered significant savings annually. Prior to that, Pascal spent nine years at AB InBev. Pascal has lived and worked in several global locations including US, China, UK, Belgium and his native Netherlands.
While the Procurement function and Supply Operations are now two dedicated organizations, with this appointment, along with Richard Jones as Global Chief Supply Officer, this completes the refinement of the leadership for the Coty Supply Chain. Richard has responsibility for Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics and Distribution, and will work hand in hand with Pascal.
Pierre Laubies said: “Pascal’s deep experience in Procurement and track record of success will be a great addition to the Coty Executive Committee, and we are looking forward to having him on board soon. Today’s appointment is an important step in supporting our ongoing transformation and our strategic roadmap for future growth. Reducing complexity and costs will drive operational leadership and unlock opportunities for reinvestment and profit expansion. I would like to thank Gianluca Colombo, current interim Chief Procurement Officer, for his leadership in the past months, contributing to the development of our Turnaround Plan and ensuring continuity during the transition period.”
